Dinotreker1

Dinotreker is a unique website for dinosaur enthusiasts, scientists, and educators tracking down interesting information about the lives and time periods on Earth when dinosaurs existed from all over the world. For those who don’t know, a new dinosaur is discovered every seven weeks with nearly half being uncovered in just the last two decades.

The search for dinosaurs is in a very unique period where we are learning more and more every day. We have received over 40 awards in only a few years as an exciting and prominent site for our viewers. We have tracked down all the best Paleo art by some of the best Paleo Artists today for those interested in art that depicts dinosaurs. Whether this art is to be used for teaching or merely for enjoyment and display, Paleoart is any original artistic work that reconstructs dinosaur art according to accurate evidence of prehistoric life according to current scientific knowledge and information. Also spelled Paleoart, Paleo-art, or Paleo art, the term was introduced in the late 1980s by Mark Hallett. Our gallery includes art by Mark Hallett, Jerry Finney, and Tracy Ford.

The pictures, drawings, and other types of art in the gallery depicts subjects related to paleontology like Saber-Tooth Cats, Mammoths and many other now extinct creatures that once ruled the Earth. We have an art gallery, with dioramas (three-dimensional full-size or miniature models of dinosaurs and their environments) and products for our visitors to peruse to purchase. The artist gallery displays paintings, drawings, sculptures, dioramas, and resin model kits. Imagine what it would be like to go back 65 million years and to not only observe dinosaurs, but dinosaurs in their natural environments. We are a kind of dinosaur museum online and we also have dinosaur products for sale like dinosaur wall clocks, mouse pads, bookmarks, note cards and more.

Do you like to read about dinosaurs? We have dinosaur books as well in your quest for more dinosaur knowledge including a book entitled, The Complete Dinosaur, with current and cutting-edge information about dinosaurs, reasons and evidence for why they went extinct, and includes over 350 different illustrations. The book is also a good gift and is available for purchase for either you or a friend. We have compiled our own timelines that cover the Mesozoic period, (also known as the Age of Reptiles), the Triassic period of time when Therapsids and archosaurs were the main vertebrates, and the Jurassic time, a period marked with a major Triassic-Jurassic extinction event took place.

Finally, the Cretaceous time period on Earth when dinosaurs dominated the land. Our site is changed on a regular basis so come back and see what’s new.
